Earlier this year my Windows XP PC had what the tech called 2 "heart attacks". It's still in the shop. I was kind of in the market anyway so I bought a new HP with Vista (which I like by the way). 2 weeks ago I had to send it back after a lightning strike took out the motherboard (yes, it was hooked to a surge protector. Evidently lightning is quicker than surge protectors--- I also lost a new Kodak printer, a modem and an old fashioned looking telephone). So, I have been using my laptop as my primary computer and late yesterday it went down with a virus (I think- the tech is coming Friday). Augh! I am typing this on my wife's PC. It's afraid of me... it thinks I'm cursed.
