I. CHRIST KNOWS [v. 9-11]

1. Christ Knows What We are Going Through [v. 9]

2. Christ Knows Where We Are [v. 9-10]– literally, physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, etc.

3. Christ Knows What We Can Do [v. 11]

 

II. CHRIST KNOWN [v. 12-16]

1. The Son of Man [v. 12-13, Dan. 7:13-14, Mt. 16:27-17:7]

- I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

2. The Risen Lord [v. 5-8, 14-15]

3. The Head of the Church [v. 16, Eph. 1:22, 4:15, 5:23]

- And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church

- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

- Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

 

III. THE COMMISSION [v. 17-20]

1. Submit to the Authority [v. 17-18, Mt. 28:18-20]

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway , even unto the end of the world. Amen.
