That's Not Fair

MATTHEW 20:1-16

I. THE HOUSEHOLDER [GOD] OWNS EVERYTHING

 

II. THE HOUSEHOLDER [GOD] CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS [v. 16, I Cor. 4:2]

God is looking for faithfulness.

 

III. DO NOT BE JEALOUS OF THE ONES GOD BLESSES

 

IV. REJOICE IN THE GOODNESS OF THE HOUSEHOLDER [GOD]

-rejoice in what you have NOT what you don’t have

-don’t focus on the hours you worked, focus on what was accomplished [with the extra workers]

-God is keeping records [1 Cor. 3:12-15, Rev. 22:12] of everything

-Keep at it!

-It’s not about us – it’s about our service to God [Gal. 1:10]!
