I. THERE IS MERCY IN HIS PERSON [v. 1-3]

 

1. Give Thanks for He is Good [v. 1]

 

2. Give Thanks for He is the God of gods [v. 2]

 

3. Give Thanks for He is the Lord of lords [v. 3]

 

II. THERE IS MERCY IN HIS POWER [v. 4-22]

 

1.  The God of gods is the Unique Creator [v. 4-9]

 

2. The Good God is the Mighty Redeemer [v. 10-15]

 

3.  The Lord of lords is the Present Help [v. 16-22]

 

III. THERE IS MERCY IN HIS POLICIES [v. 23-26]

 

1. He is Good - He Remembered Us [v. 23]

 

2. He is Gracious - He Redeemed Us [v. 24, Rev. 5:9]

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;]

 

3. He is God- He Reached Down to Us [v. 25-26]
