RAISING THE DEAD

LUKE 7:11-16

By way of introduction let me state several things about the various times Jesus raised individuals from the dead.

1. During his earthly ministry Jesus resuscitated individuals in their normal bodies- He did not give them a glorified body.

2. Jesus never raised someone for themselves- it was always for someone else.

3. It was not specifically requested per se.

1. For the Glory Of God [v. 1-18]

2. For the Family and Friends [v. 19-40]

3. For the Salvation of Souls [v. 41-45, 12:9-11]
