Even though “fixed” here is not how we generally mean there is actually an application which is both Biblical and practical.

III. CHARACTERISTICS OF A FIXED HEART
1. Songs of Praise [v. 2-4]
When you don’t sing you rob yourself of joy and rob God of Glory.
2. Supplications in Prayer [v. 3-6]
3. Rejoicing in God’s Holy Word & Work [v. 7-13]
