There are some great things about being saved. [v. 1-8] Any one of these things would be more than enough reason for any reasonable person to trust Christ and to be thankful enough to show it by living for Him but the Scriptures tells us- we have much more.

I. WE HAVE SAFETY [v. 9]

-won’t go through the tribulation [Revelation 6:16]

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

II. WE HAVE SECURITY [v. 10-11]

-won’t lose what we didn’t pay for anyway [Jn. 6:37-40]

III. WE HAVE SUFFICIENCY [v. 12-15]

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

IV. WE HAVE SURETY [v. 16-17]

V. WE HAVE SUPERIORITY [v. 18-22]
