Witnessing is NOT "The Great Debate" {Please learn this}

How many people debated Madeline Murray O'Hare? Not one of them won her to Christ. Here is the best verse on this. Please soak it in. "The servant of the Lord must not strive ...in meekness instructing those who oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance (change their minds) to the acknowledging of the truth" 2 Tim. 2:24, 25.

"Be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. 1 Pet. 3:15.

Question? How many people have actually asked you that? Me? NOT ONE.

Question 2. Has anyone ever asked you to give the gospel, the good news, to every person?
YES. The Lord Jesus Himself said, "Preach the gospel to every creature" Mk 16:15.

To be a soul winner and help change the world we must get off the negative platform and get on the positive ;platform, give the gospel, the good news, that Christ suffered and died for our sins, was buried, rose again and was seen by hundreds. 1 Cor 15:3-8, for "that is the power of God unto salvation" Rom 1:16.

Two very good Christian schools made a big deal about how they were training their students to "defend their faith." To God be the glory. I have lead hundreds to Christ in personal work, not by defending my faith but by giving them the gospel which is "the power of God unto Salvation." Please let this sink in. It will take the gloom out of witnessing and put the joy and power in your witnessing. I was asked to go see a radical atheist. All l did was give him the gospel and God gave him repentance, he acknowledged the truth and received the Lord Jesus. He was gloriously saved and is now in full time Christian ministry. I got a letter from him today. He has led thousands to Christ. Please don't go around with intentions of "defending your faith" but go around presenting the gospel and see the glorious difference.
