I. WE HAVE A POSITION IN CHRIST [v. 17]

 

1. Old Things are Passed Away

-language

-music (does it glorify God or sin?)

-friends

-addictions (the wrong things will always want more – i.e., the law of diminish and return)

 

2. All things are become new

-new vocabulary (including “church words”)

-addictions (Bible reading, church attendance, prayer, etc.) [1 Cor. 16:15]

 

II. WE HAVE A PURPOSE IN CHRIST [v. 17-19, Eph. 2:11-20]

 

III. WE HAVE A PASSION FOR CHRIST [2 Cor. 5:10, Phil. 1:21]
