1. Bethel was The Place of God’s Presence [v. 20a]

2. Bethel was The Place of God’s Provision [v. 20b]

3. Bethel was The Place of God’s Peace [v. 21]

4. Bethel was The Place of Jacob’s Promise [v. 22]

 

II. WHAT BETHEL MEANT TO GOD

 

1. It Was the Place of God’s Servant’s Commitment [Gen. 31:13]

2. It Was the Place of God’s Servant’s Consecration [Gen. 35:1-4]

3. It Was the Place of God’s Servant’s Change [Gen. 35:5-15]

 

III. WHAT BETHEL MEANS TO US [1 Corinthians 10:11]

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
