I. REMEMBER [v. 17]
1. Be Apprised
[Ps. 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed
thereto according to thy word]
2. Be Approved [2
Timothy 2:15]
3. Be Aligned
[Jn. 17:14-17]
II. RECOGNIZE [v. 24]
1. Recognize Who is
Able [Acts 20:32] And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word
of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance
among all them which are sanctified.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all
sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Ephesians 3:20 Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that worketh in us
Hebrews 2:18 For in
that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that
are tempted.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore
he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing
he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
2. Recognize Who
Keeps You [2 Timothy 1:12] For the which cause I also suffer these things:
nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am
persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.
1 Peter 1:5 Who are
kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in
the last time.
3. Recognize Who Will
Present You [Ephesians 1:4, 5:27]
Col. 1:22 In the body
of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and
unreproveable in his sight:
III. REVERENCE [v.
25]
1. Reverence God for
His Wisdom [1 Timothy 1:17]
2. Reverence God for
His Salvation [Titus 1:4, 2:10, 13; 3:4, 6]
3. Reverence God for
Ever [Romans 16:27, Gal. 1:5, Heb. 13:8]
