<p class="MsoNormal">Read the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings and 1
& 2 Chronicles and you’ll discover some material that seems repetitive, because
these books sometimes recount the same event from a somewhat different
perspective. They all are inspired but like the gospels in the New Testament
the Holy Spirit had the writer emphasize different things <b>He</b> wanted to
emphasize. That is His prerogative. You also learn that there were good kings
and evil kings whose lives are recounted in Holy Writ. Sometimes a king listed
as “good” did bad things- sometimes a king listed as “evil” did good things.
What was the difference maker? Let’s check out two kings and see.<o:p></o:p></p>

have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the

profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly,

me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. Thou
believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and
tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was
not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son
upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was
faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham
believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called
the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by
faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she
had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body
without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.<o:p></o:p></p>Rick jacksonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01039630596244612852noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25952512.post-75926597678505176732024-03-08T20:19:00.001-05:002024-03-09T20:46:02.150-05:00John R. Jesus said in John 7:17, to certain doubters, "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." Again He said in John 8:12, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in </span><span style="animation-name: none !important; background-color: white; color: #050505; font-family: "Segoe UI Historic", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; transition-property: none !important; white-space-collapse: preserve;"><a style="animation-name: none !important; color: #385898; cursor: pointer; font-family: inherit; transition-property: none !important;" tabindex="-1"></a></span><span style="background-color: white; color: #050505; font-family: "Segoe UI Historic", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; white-space-collapse: preserve;">darkness, but shall have the light of life." I have no patience for the man who says, "I do not believe in the electric light," and will not try the switch to see for himself. And so any man who does not search the Scriptures, who does not honestly seek the Lord Jesus for himself, who does not put the matter of salvation to a test, is a dishonest sinner, condemned because he does not want to know the truth and does not follow on to know it. - John R. often used as an intangible term, one that escapes concise definition. While it
is true that love is better exercised than explained, better demonstrated than

bestowed upon us” is just that- a statement. It is not a question here, it’s
not in question here- here it is an explanation. “What manner of love?” can be

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 107%;">The Bible is
clear that God loves every one. The Bible is equally clear that God hates sin.
That is why God provided a Way, the Way, for every one to be saved, to be a
believer, to be a Christian, to avoid Hell and gain Heaven and that one way is
the Lord Jesus Christ. Having said that God shows His love to lost and saved
alike. It rains on the just and the unjust. The goodness of God leads mankind
to repentance. But, to be truly blessed of God, to have peace of mind and
heart, the peace of God that passes all understanding, the leading and guidance
daily of the Spirit of God, access to the throne of grace to find help in time
of need is NOT given to all – it can be attained by all, but to get some of the
more specific blessing one must be, for lack of a better term, one must be
blessable. Are you blessable? Would you like to be blessable? Psalm 1 is the
ground floor for us today, get in on the ground floor and be blessable. Be
blessable and you will be blessed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 107%;">For this
cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of

in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus

condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all
men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made
sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

I didn't know then Sunday is the Lord's Day, and the Sabbath is Saturday. Well, somebody says they changed it in Bible times. The Bible never says anything about changing it. Men have said so. You may think the command applies to Sunday. But the Bible doesn't say so. The truth is, the Sabbath was given to the Jews in the modest land of Palestine. It isn't suitable for the arctic circle.
